Concealed Pistol License Issues
Licensed carriers can face charges or license suspension for carrying in pistol-free zones, failing to disclose a CPL to police during a stop, or carrying with alcohol in their system (MCL 28.425f and 28.425k). Certain convictions, including many domestic violence convictions, can also lead to a firearms prohibition.
Our Approach
Weapons cases frequently turn on how the firearm was found and whether the search was lawful. We examine every stop and search, challenge the element of possession, and work to avoid mandatory consecutive penalties wherever possible.
